The Wild West Roadeo is dedicated to promoting Public Safety on Nevada's roads.
Do you recall your first driving Test, carefully maneuvering through pylons and narrow alleys trying your patience and skills? Imagine doing the same in an eighteen ton vehicle, or greater, forty plus feet of vehicle length. Tighten the course for competition and add a few more difficult maneuvers and you get an idea of what a Roadeo is all about.
Roadeos, that's R - O - A - D - E - O, are safety and skill events that are hosted by public agencies, such as the American Public Transportation Association and the Community Transportation Association, Regional Transportation Commission, Washoe County School District, and private trucking companies.
